The online space has changed quickly. What used to work, no longer does. A lot of us are feeling overwhelmed and wondering what the next step is.

We wanted to create space to connect, have deep conversations and recalibrate. We want to share our passion and knowledge on branding and visibility and leave you with the tools you need to move forward with new energy and clarity (and a collection of imagery from this magical location).

Set in a peaceful French home at the foot of the village of Fayence, surrounded by olive trees, with lavender in the air, this intimate gathering combines deep strategic work with spacious time to think, create and reconnect with why your work matters.

Your own b-rolls, captured in Provence

One of the most common reasons personal brands don't show up the way they should is not a lack of substance. It's a lack of usable material, and the quiet overwhelm of not knowing where to start or how to show up on camera without it feeling forced.

In the Brand Story Photography workshop, Janine covers what makes a photograph work for your brand. Towards the end, she also gives you a few practical pointers for the filming day that follows: what to look for, how to think about light and angles, and what kinds of clips are actually worth capturing on your phone.

From there, the next day you apply it. You film with the group around you, in the village, the house or garden. B-roll, clips of yourself talking, footage others capture of you. A small but genuinely useful library of content to bring home.

I’m a personal brand photographer who believes in the power of personality-filled photos as a tool to spread your message to the right people (without needing to shout louder to have an impact).

I’ve spent 10 years helping female founders and coaches show up in a way that actually feels good and that reflects who they are.

At this retreat I’ll work with you to create imagery that makes a solid first impression on your behalf. Expect deep conversations, genuine laughter, a funny Australian accent and a touch of Swenglish. (I do speak Swedish, so any questions and discussions in Swedish are always welcome.)

I work with female coaches who are ready to refine how they show up, what they offer, and what they charge for it.

My background is 25 years in PR, marketing and advertising, and I've run my own business since 2016.

At this retreat I focus on the strategic side of your brand: how your signature offer is structured, how your packaging and pricing communicate your value, and what it takes to go all-in on one offer with real clarity behind it.

The Brand Retreat Provence

Below you’ll find answers to the most common practical questions about the retreat.
If there is anything else you are wondering, you are always welcome to reach out.

Disclaimer

In the unlikely event that the retreat needs to be postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as illness, travel disruptions or other unforeseen events), participants will be offered a new retreat date or a full refund of the retreat fee.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for any personal travel or accommodation expenses. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.

What is the cancellation policy?

All bookings are final and payments are non-refundable, except in the event that the retreat is cancelled by the organisers.

An 8 000 SEK deposit is required to secure your place. This deposit is non-refundable, whether you choose the payment plan or pay in full.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, your place may be transferred to another participant. Arranging the transfer is your responsibility. The original payment will remain attached to the booking.

Once we receive the new participant’s details, we will update the booking accordingly.

What's not included

Flights, accommodation, transport to and from the venue, and meals beyond what is listed above are not included.

How many places are there?

The retreat is intentionally limited to 8 participants to create space for thoughtful conversations and meaningful work together.

A minimum of three participants is required for the retreat to take place. We will confirm the retreat by email once this number is reached.

Language

The retreat is held in Swedish.
Janine’s photography workshop is held in English.

What's included

On arrival you will be welcomed with Champagne and nibblies. Throughout the three days, coffee, tea, rosè and snacks are always available.

One dinner and one lunch prepared in the house are also included, along with all workshops, strategic sessions and photography as part of the program.

How do I secure my place?

PAY IN FULL

The investment for the Brand Retreat is 28 000 SEK exkl tax. 

You may secure your place by paying the full amount via invoice.

Paying in full saves 4 000 SEK compared to the payment plan.

PAYMENT PLAN

Reserve your place with an 8 000 SEK deposit, with the remaining balance paid in two instalments.

All payments are made via invoice.
With only 8 places available, your place is confirmed once your payment or deposit has been received.

Invoices will be issued upon registration and must be paid by the stated due dates to secure your place.

Practical information 

Hotel or Airbnb is not included in the retreat price.

All confirmed participants will receive a curated list of recommended places to stay nearby, at different price points. But here are some favourites.

The pool area may be undergoing seasonal maintenance in May, as it is normally prepared for the summer season in June. For this reason, the pool may not be open during the retreat. 
Many nearby hotels offer their own pool facilities.

Getting there

The closest airport is Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE), around 50 minutes by Uber. Marseille is also an option if it works better with your flights, though you would need a rental car — approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from there. Or take the train to Cannes and a bus to Fayence. 

If you are thinking about adding a few extra days to explore the French Riviera before or after the retreat, renting a car is well worth it.
